Worldwide product innovation awards
Celebrating the world’s most innovative machinery and engineering products
Powering the engines of global industry – where heavy-duty capability meets microscopic precision. The DaVinci Awards® for Product celebrates the mechanical breakthroughs, robotic systems, and advanced machinery that drive production, optimize supply chains, and build the future. Enter your product today to showcase your mechanical engineering excellence on a global stage.
how have you excelled?
At The DaVinci Awards® for Product, we are looking for the industrial hardware and mechanical innovations that keep the world’s production lines moving safely and efficiently.
This category honors the unsung heroes of engineering: the complex machinery, precision tooling, and smart automation systems that maximize output while minimizing downtime.
We want to hear from those who are transforming manufacturing floors, processing plants, and automation hubs. Whether your product is a collaborative robot that redefines factory safety, a hydraulic system with unprecedented energy efficiency, or a specialized industrial component designed to withstand extreme thermal or physical stress, your innovation deserves recognition.
We are searching for world-class examples of smart hardware integration, advanced fluid dynamics, or the clever use of wear-resistant materials. If your product has elevated industrial throughput, solved a legacy mechanical bottleneck, or established a new standard for operational reliability, a DaVinci Award® is yours to claim.

Tell us what makes you stand out
Nominees may focus on the pure engineering mastery required to design complex, reliable mechanical systems. We look for entries that have solved fundamental physics and material challenges to achieve superior performance.
Efficiency: e.g., Reducing internal friction and energy loss in gearboxes, optimizing mechanical advantage, or engineering lighter, stiffer moving structures to increase operational speed. Industrial IoT: Building smart mechanical hardware with embedded edge-computing sensors that allow machines to self-diagnose and communicate maintenance needs before a failure occurs. Material durability: Utilizing advanced ceramic coatings, self-lubricating alloys, or specialized heat treatments that drastically extend the operational lifespan of high-wear components.Innovation here centers on the shop-floor reality, focusing on how the machinery improves safety, enhances operator control, or optimizes factory resource management.
Operator safety: Engineering safety-rated monitored stops, intuitive human-machine interfaces (HMIs), or acoustic dampening that significantly lowers factory floor noise pollution. Precision: e.g., Systems that deliver microscopic, sub-micron accuracy consistently over millions of cycles, reducing material scrap and improving quality control. Resource conservation: Machinery designed to run on drastically less electrical or pneumatic power, lowering both the environmental footprint and operational costs for manufacturers. We celebrate the products that are changing the face of global production, lowering the barriers to smart manufacturing, or upending traditional industrial models.
Democratizing automation: e.g., Developing modular, “plug-and-play” robotic kits or affordable automation tools that allow small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) to compete with massive smart factories. Industry 4.0: e.g., Introducing products that successfully bridge the gap between heavy legacy iron and fully digital, cloud-connected manufacturing environments. Category redefinition: Reimagining a traditional industrial tool or mechanical system into a multi-functional machine that replaces three pieces of equipment on the factory floor.Product Awards: Optional Sample Submission
In order to showcase your product to our judging team in the fullest, we accept product samples. This helps our judges test your product, and afford it a more detailed write-up should you win an award.
The Product Itself
Gives our judges a ‘hands on’ opportunity to test and evaluate the product.
A Product Demo
Send a recording of the product in action to give a feel for the product in use.
Guides & Materials
User guides, brochures, or other materials can help judges visualize the product in action.
Product samples of any kind are not a requirement, and those that do not provide one will not be penalized. All samples are withheld, and you must pay all shipping fees and relevant taxes. Indicate on your submission form if you would like to submit a sample, and our team will assist.
