Worldwide product innovation awards
Celebrating the world’s most innovative renewables & environmental products
Engineering a sustainable future – where clean energy generation meets advanced resource conservation. The DaVinci Awards® for Product shines a spotlight on the hardware, modules, and systems that are actively lowering global carbon footprints and restoring ecological balance. Put your environmental technology forward to claim your place as a leader of the green transition.
how have you excelled?
At The DaVinci Awards® for Product, we are looking for the tangible, product-led solutions that are making a net-zero future a reality.
Combating climate change relies on physical innovation, and we honor the hardware and technical equipment that generate clean power, conserve vital resources, or capture pollutants at the source.
We welcome nominations from across the ecological spectrum – whether you are manufacturing high-efficiency solar modules, developing next-generation wind turbine sub-assemblies, or building decentralized water purification units for remote communities. We are searching for world-class examples of maximized thermodynamic efficiency, the clever use of non-toxic materials, or the engineering of grid-stabilizing energy storage products.
If your product has successfully scaled a green technology, reduced dependency on fossil fuels, or established a higher standard for environmental performance, your innovation deserves the global prestige of a DaVinci Award®.

Tell us what makes you stand out
This section centers on the breakthroughs in physics, chemistry, and aerodynamics required to extract the maximum amount of utility from natural resources while minimizing ecological harm.
Conversion efficiency: e.g., Engineering solar panels or wind blades that break previous records for converting ambient sunlight or wind kinetic energy into clean electricity. Material lifecycle optimization: e.g., Designing renewable hardware (like wind blades or battery casings) using entirely recyclable composites, ensuring the clean energy tools themselves don’t end up in landfills. Resilience: Developing solar or marine energy components capable of withstanding extreme UV exposure, high salinity, or severe weather conditions for decades with minimal maintenance.Nominees may focus on how the product performs in the real world, prioritizing ease of deployment, grid integration, or direct positive impact on local ecosystems and communities.
Grid reliability: Creating smart inverters or localized battery systems that smooth out the intermittent nature of wind and solar power, providing reliable, continuous electricity. Scalability and accessibility: Designing modular, “plug-and-play” microgrid equipment that allows remote schools, hospitals, or disaster zones to establish immediate energy or water independence. Ecological coexistence: e.g., Engineering hydro-turbines or wind components that mitigate harm to local wildlife, such as fish-friendly blade geometries or acoustic deterrent systems for bats and birds. We honor the ‘firsts’ that are redefining energy economics, proving that sustainable alternatives can outperform traditional, carbon-intensive legacy systems.
Waste-to-Value: e.g., Introducing a product that treats a dangerous environmental liability – such as industrial methane leaks or toxic runoff – and converts it into a clean energy source or valuable raw material. Utility sector decentralization: Developing hardware that shifts power away from massive, vulnerable fossil-fuel plants and puts generation capabilities safely into the hands of local neighborhoods or businesses. Economic viability: Lowering the manufacturing and installation costs of environmental technology so dramatically that clean energy or clean water becomes the most affordable option on the market.Product Awards: Optional Sample Submission
In order to showcase your product to our judging team in the fullest, we accept product samples. This helps our judges test your product, and afford it a more detailed write-up should you win an award.
The Product Itself
Gives our judges a ‘hands on’ opportunity to test and evaluate the product.
A Product Demo
Send a recording of the product in action to give a feel for the product in use.
Guides & Materials
User guides, brochures, or other materials can help judges visualize the product in action.
Product samples of any kind are not a requirement, and those that do not provide one will not be penalized. All samples are withheld, and you must pay all shipping fees and relevant taxes. Indicate on your submission form if you would like to submit a sample, and our team will assist.
